From One Memphis Backyard

Florexus was born in the summer of 2020, when founder Claire Beaumont found herself tending a neglected cottage garden on Burton Avenue and falling deeply in love with floriculture, one bloom at a time.

Frustrated by advice that ignored Southern humidity, clay-heavy Tennessee soils, and Zone 7b growing seasons, Claire began documenting what actually worked and sharing it online for free.

What started as a personal diary grew into one of the most trusted floriculture resources in the mid-South, now reaching over 48,000 gardeners monthly.
